Port Moody Condos Video Blog #1 - List Price Vs. Offer Price

In the first edition of the Port Moody Condos Video Blog Greg broadcasts from the Burrard inlet, in the beautiful Lower Mainland, BC. The Port Moody real estate market is still as hot as ever as we head into the Fall and Winter months.

In this video blog post Greg discusses the real estate fall market, and a typical question: "What can I expect to pay for a property versus what it's listed for?"

Here's Greg's answer:

"There's an average that you could calculate from the previous amount of sales, but in each case it will be different. It's not really a question you can answer in general; it's more specific to each property.

In some cases a realtor may have a property priced sharply, and in that case there isn't much room for negotiation. But maybe the home has been on the market for some time and there is some room to negotiate.

The best thing to do is talk to your realtor and figure out prices based on recent comparable sales in that complex, development or building, of what a reasonable price you could expect to pay for it is."
